DIP ARTICOKE

 

1 (14-ounce) can artichoke hearts

1-cup mayonnaise

1-cup grated Parmesan cheese

Dash of garlic powder

Dash salt

Lemon juice (optional)

 

Drain artichokes well.  Squeeze out all the juice.  Break artichokes into small pieces and add mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese. Mix well.  Add garlic powder and salt and mix lightly. Place in shallow baking dish (one that the dip can be served in) and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes or until brown on top.  Blot excessive grease with paper towel.  Serve hot with king-size Fritos, Melba toast, or other crackers.
