RAMEN NOODLES SALAD
Ingredients:
Salad:
1 large or 2 small Napa lettuce (also called celery cabbage)
5 Green onions
1/2 Red pepper, chopped
2 Pkgs. chicken flavored Ramen Noodles
1/2 Cup sunflower seeds
1 small pkg. slivered almonds
Dressing:
3/4 Cup vinegar
1 Cup oil
1/2 Cup sugar
2 tsp. soy sauce
2 pkgs. Ramen seasoning mix
Directions:
Thinly slice celery cabbage and green onions while browning the Ramen noodles and almonds in butter (be careful not to burn), drain and cool noodles and almonds on paper towel. After cooled mix in with greens and sunflower seeds.
Mix together above ingredients for dressing in separate container. (It will blend easily by shaking it vigorously in liquid-tight container). Pour over salad immediately before serving. (Do not put on dressing too far ahead of serving time, as it will make salad soggy. If you want to save half for another day, store without dressing and wait until then to dress).
