FROZEN FRUIT SALAD

 

 

 

1 8-ounce package cream cheese

1/3-cup powdered sugar

¾ teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3-cup salad dressing or mayonnaise

1 16-ounce can sliced peaches, drained

1/3-cup maraschino cherry halves

1 16-ounce can fruit cocktail, drained

1 8-ounce can crushed pineapples, drained

2-cups miniature marshmallows

1/3-cup whipped cream

Few drops red food coloring

Additional whipping cream for garnish

 

          Whip cream cheese in a mixture. Add powdered sugar and mix till well blended. Add vanilla and blend in salad dressing or mayonnaise. Fold in fruit and marsh mellows. Whip cream and fold into mixture. Add food coloring and mix- salad should be pale pink. Ladle into 5-ounce serving or soufflé cups. Freeze immediately, at least overnight.

          Defrost about 15 minutes before serving
