1 stick butter or margarine
1 cup rice ( uncooked )
1 cup chopped onion
1/4 Tsp. salt
1 can beef consume
1 cup water
1/3 cup slivered almonds
Melt butter in heavy skillet. Stir in rice and brown. Add onions and cook slowly (slightly) add to other ingredients and cook in a casserole in 350 degrees oven for 45 minutes. Serves 6-8 persons.
Great when served with fried chicken / Marie
